In our post-pandemic world, the need for vibrant and welcoming Christian communities has never been stronger. This new filmed course is a timely resource drawing on the immense wisdom and inspiration from our Celtic spiritual heritage helping us to find renewed faith and vision together.

A five session course to revitalise communities and their mission. Ideal for parish teams and small groups in both a Catholic and an Anglican setting.

Stand-alone filmed sessions (approx 20 mins each). Plus practical discussion questions that cover the following topics:

  • Building Welcoming Communities

  • Growing in Faith Together

  • Renewed in the Holy Spirit

  • Caring for God's Creation

  • Evangelising with Love & Action

Includes beautiful on-location filming from Lindisfarne, Iona and St. David's. Presented by David Payne with in-depth interviews from Celtic experts such as Canon Michael Mitton (Derby), Dr. Carmody Grey (Durham) and Ronan & Joanne Johnston (Dublin).

The course recommended book is 'Restoring the Woven Cord' by Michael Mitton - an inspirational and easy-to-read book which takes 15 leading figures from our Celtic past and shares something of their fascinating stories. These are available from goodnewsbooks.co.uk

CaFE OnDemand recommend that the parish ministry leads for Welcoming, Formation, Evangelisation, Caring for the planet and Social justice attend their respective session to listen for volunteers and ideas. Some parishes use a 6th session to gather those inspired for a meal of thanksgiving.
