Excitement is building as CaFE OnDemand, a high quality collection of video courses, goes live.
CaFE OnDemand is the brand new title for the digital library of courses-formerly known as CafE- providing excellent resources, free of charge, which cover faith formation, sacraments, youth, and general resources.
Welcoming the free CaFE OnDemand resources, Tim Stevens, who has been part of the team overseeing the transition to the new digital location, told CHARIS England and Wales: "These resources bring the gospel alive to help build faith and community, so we pray they are a blessing wherever they are shown. If they are, we hope they are shared far and wide."
26 different faith-building courses are available for viewing or downloading free of charge. Many of these include contemporary professional TV quality presentations based upon scripture and the teachings of the Church. Used in parishes across the world, the courses are based on faithful filmed sessions (often on location), prayerful reflections, and in some cases, participant notes, course books and music. The digital library at the new website also provides advice and support.Â
Toni and Gerard Pomfret at goodnewsbooks.co.uk are confirmed as the provider of CaFE OnDemand books and booklets.
Â
Tim Stevens and his team have worked tirelessly to make the transition as smooth as possible, for which the national CNSC team is very grateful. Tim shared his hopes for the exciting new phase, saying: "We are hopeful that making all of these filmed courses available free of charge might remove any final barriers to access when a parish has internet, no matter where they may be."
